Incoordination
The term incoordination refers to the inability to contract muscles in a
smooth firing pattern during the
execution of a voluntary or involuntary movement. This can develop secondary to
nerve damage, chronic muscle spasm, or as the result of an injury or
degenerative disorder afflicting the central nervous system.
